An Introduction to Peppermint Preschool
We have been part of the community for over 30 Years

Dear Parents and Families,
We would like to Welcome You and Your Child to Our facility.

It is Our goal to provide Your Child with the best possible Care and Learning Environment.
We provide hands on learning experiences in Our structured Preschool and Daycare.
We also like the Children to have fun and enjoy their day.

Preschool -
Our Preschool program begins with 2 year old children and continues through the pre-Kindergarten program, with a weekly theme that is carried throughout the day. The day includes, Story times, Flannel boards, Songs, and Daily projects, along with other Creative and Fun Learning Centers. Our themes include daily use and learning the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. We design activities which promote the development of both large and small motor (muscle) skills.

Daycare -
Our Daycare program provides care for Children from 6 weeks old, up into Elementary School. As part of The Children's normal day in the Daycare program They participate in the Preschool from 9:00am to 11:30 am each day. In addition, The Daycare program provides Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Naps, Play times, Field Trips, and many other fun and educational activities throughout.

Breakfast is from about 8:00 to 8:30, Lunch, and afternoon snacks. With the cooler mornings the kids will be eating a variety which includes hot pancakes, muffins (blueberry, apple cinnamon, ...etc.) as well as cereal ,fruit (yes fruit), and juice -- see the menu for the specific days. The kids usually get seconds or thirds -
- They eat pretty well !


Before and After Elementary School -
Once enrolled in Elementary School up to and including 13 years old, Children may participate in Our Before and After School Program where they receive supervision and guidance, and the opportunity to work on School homework along with exploring other fun and educational activities designed to be more age specific.

There's lots of play area, directly accessed from the building -
and a fully fenced area all the way around the back and both sides of the building.
And We'll be adding more Play equipment and still have room for soccer or field games.
There is additional grass Play yard on the other side also - we'll be adding more sandboxes etc. there too!
